ACS Skills Assessment (RPL)

Hello,

I am planning to apply for Australia PR. By qualification I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics stream. However I have 7 (seven) years of experience as a Software engineer (Development/Programming).

From my study, I know that I have to apply to ACS for assessment.

However I am confused with RPL. Do I need to apply to ACS under RPL because of the degree (electronics) and professional experience (as software professional) confilct?

Also in this case do I need to submit a CDR? Your reply is most valuable. Please guide.
