Australia Visit Visa

Hello,

I want to apply for a visit visa for my wife (she has a non EU passport) to accompany me on a visit to Australia. She is eligible to apply online. My query is regarding the supporting documents. The following link,

suggests to provide certificated copies of documents. Do we need to attach certified documents even for an online application? In the past, online applications just required colored scans of documents. If documents have to be certified who can we use to certify documents in UK?

I am answering this myself in case someone else comes along with the same query. When applying online, you just have to provide colored scans of the documents. Certified copies are required only for paper based applications.
