IT Professional require 3 Years or 4 Years OF Experience ?

I have a very simple question. I am an IT Professional with 3 Years of Experience. Do i need 3 years of work Experience or 4 years of work experience to apply of ACS Assessmsnt ?

Dear Majic

You must have 4 year of experience before applying to ACS. I have just confirmed it.

When I applied for ACS it was 3 years experience.

A few question please naswer them One by one if u can:

1. So under the current scenario I dont qualify ?

2. My work expereince goes like this ?

FULL TIME

I work as a Oracle Support Analyst - Database Team
Aug 2002 - Nov-2004

I am working as Manager Database
Dec-2004 - Till Date

Part Time

I am working as an IT Instructor
Mar-2003 - Till Date (Approx 24 Hours a week)

RESULT

FULL TIME WORK EXPERIENCE = 3 Years & 1 Month

PART TIME WORK EXPERIENCE = 2 Years & 6 Months @ 24 Hours/Week

Do you think this makes a Strong Case ?

On the Question of 4 Years Experience:

1. I have 3 Years and 1 Months of Professional Experience FULL Time.
2. I have 2 Years and 6 Months of Professional Experience PART Time @ 24 Years each week.

Breakdown of the stat is as follow:

FULL TIME
I work as a Oracle Support Analyst - Database Team
Aug 2002 - Nov-2004

I am working as Manager Database
Dec-2004 - Till Date

PART TIME
I am working as an IT Instructor
Mar-2003 - Till Date (Approx 24 Hours a week)

Does this make a case strong enough to apply for ACS Accessment ?

Here are the ACS guidelines:

Full time is working 38 hours a week or more.

Part time is given on pro-rata basis if over 20 hours per week.

If you have a degree with IT major, you need a total of 4 years experience. A degree with an IT minor (or diploma) needs 6 years experience. No degree needs 9+ in order to pass using the RPL method.
