I have an update...actually an old one dating back to March 19-03-2014....

Sorry i got so carried away in travelling after receipt of my new British Passport

, that i forgot to update my status...

Application Type: Adult - First British Passport
Method of application: Check & Send
Date of application: 01-03-2014
Date application received by IPS: no sms rcvd.... however I called them upand they confirmed that they received it on 05-03-2014
Date of return of documents: 20-03-2014... very next day of my appointment
Date of receipt of interview letter: 18-03-2014 dated 14-03-2014
Date of Passport Appointment: 19-03-2014- Peterborough... yes I got it the very next day !!! Interview went well! Questions are as follows:

Name of Spouse, her DoB

All past addresses since you arrived in UK

Date of receipt of British Passport: 21-03-2014, exactly the very next day after receiving my old passports.
Hence from Start to End to End it took me exactly 21 Days from the date of my Ceremony to actually have my British Passport in Hand...Alhamdulillah...Praise to Almighty for helping me achieve all this in exactly 3 weeks!!!!

And off I was travelling around the world!!! Just got back on Saturday 12-04-2014

Now I am initiating the process for my Wife, so will be at the Naturalization Forum again and very soon back on the Passport Forum as well..

Hello,

Please could you let me know if you received your original passport and the new British passport together in the same post, or separately? I originally applied via Check & Send and have paid extra for the return delivery of my original passport via Royal Mail.

the reason why I am wondering is because I went for an interview last Saturday, still have not received back my original passport yet

I got a note from DX earlier today about unsuccessful delivery. I have arranged a redelivery for next Tuesday. I was wondering if the DX will only include my British passport, or my original passport as well? I would expect to receive my original passport separately from Royal Mail but getting so concerned now that I haven't received it yet??

it's been a week, I would expect to have received the original docs already.

Any advice/opinion appreciated!!

Am I the only one who has yet to receive Passport after Interview then, Seems most people get theirs few days after, I had my interview on the 12th April and yet to receive the passport. I sent my application to Durham office and didnt get interview letter until about 3 weeks later.

I had interview on 10 th April and still no
passport received. I had a call from hmpo Peterboroug.they wanted to clarify my name .. They got confused between my surname and first name during the interview. After clarifying my name they said the passport will be ordered for print soon. I am expecting it on Tuesday/Wednesday. Very disappointed by the whole process

British passport and original pp/docs comes separately. Both will deliver by DX. Sometime it takes time don't worry u will get these soon

about our town
childs age
car reg, make n colour
voting
family planning
childs school name
etc.
