British Passport application processing timelines (only)

That happened to me too. I called the contact centre and they sent a message with my query. Next day a manager called me and I explained that they sent a letter to counter signatory but because it's her work address (NHS hospital) she didn't receive it. They then called her work number to confirm the details over the phone and then that was it.

Thanks excited for your quick response. Did you mentioned that they called her work number? Is this to verify if the counter signatory is working for this organisation? Or do they call the counter signatory's mobile number? In my case I have given counter signatory's mobile number for communication in the form.

The biggest wait for me was the interview - not sure if this was everyone's experience, but I received the letter on Thursday and phoned on the Friday to book the appointment and the earliest appointment they had at London Victoria was the following Thursday! Still only took 15 days from application to receipt of passport though.

They called her mobile first but she was on her way to work so she asked that they call her on work number (no signal where she works so easier to call on work number). They needed to verify her passport number as she entered it incorrectly on the form. They verified it over the phone.

take your citizenship certificate, your all uncancelled passports, 2 photos (1 with certified by countersignatory)
filled passport app form with counter sign from a prof person who knows for 2 years

if any body can help
my wife applied for citizenship and went out of uk on holidays.a baby born while she on holidays(new addition in our family).
she got citizen approval letter to attend citizen ceremony while she on holidays and before baby birth.
she come back with new born baby and
she will attend citizen ceremony next week.
my question is
it's possible when she applied for her British passport.can she also apply for
new born baby British passport with her or not ?
or need to apply first for citizenship(naturalization)
both parents on ILR.

Sent it with a covering letter providing additional info about grandparents (just to play safe), and also requesting them to process the application before Xmas if possible (for potential holiday abroad on New Year's eve).
