The letter most likely to have been sent second class like mine. Just keep on waiting.

Yes they told us they sent letter on 6th May by second class, surely it cannot take this long.. Anyway there is nothing we can do, when we called they said they cannot issues british passport with different to the name on other passport. They said either we need to change the name on our existing passport or change the name on citizenship certificate, both are not ideal as they take hell lot of time... changing name on indian passport is probably easy but surely we are not going to keep it unlike other countries which allow dual nationality...

Just a confusion about contersignatory. U said "NO" but U mentioned as well that anyone can be a countersignatory as long as they r on the approved list of HMPO. So the person I am gona ask to countersign is a british citizen and a director of a VAT registered company but he was one of referees as well on my naturalisation application.

Can he be a countersignatory or is it a requirement of the HMPO that it has to be a different person than referees used in naturalisation?

Send all your passport. Current and expired ones.
Application Form
Passport size picture 2
Nauralization Certificate
Fees
Make sure your referees sign/date the application and one passport size picture. Yes you can use the same person.
No need for grandfater details, and you can send a pre-paid envelope. I just ticked the box on the form and paid extra 3 pound to have my doc sent back to me.
No need for BRP. You naturalization is the part that is needed for passport.

If the expired passports are cancelled they don't have to be sent.

Hi All I am going to apply for my child's Passport.
he was born in UK, I laminated his birth certificate, does it matter, because I read it should not be laminated on the Naturalisation certificate.
And also Another doubt: In section 2 where you write your title, we all the options,ex Mr,Mrs,MIss etc.. but we dont have anything for childs' title as such as MASTER like that. Any suggestions please.

Hi there

I have rcvd my invitation letter from HO but haven't rcvd it from council yet. Anyways I am going to call my council tomorrow to check whether they've rcvd my certificate or not.

I believe my ILR would have been ceased by now as I am a British citizen now or will be after attending the ceremony IA.
I have to travel abroad for 2 days for holidays on this Wednesday which is day after tomorrow. So I will be attending the ceremony after coming back from holidays.
My question is (I think I will b fine but just to get an expert opinion I am posting it here).

Would I be fine using my current foreigner passport along with ILR BRP card to travel outside the UK?
Would there be any problems on the way back to UK?

Any comments will be much appreciated.

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I have paid for the secure delivery of my documents when i applied for my daughters passport who is British by birth. I have received her passport through DX Couriers but haven't received my documents yet. Will i receive the documents through DX courier again or will it be a different courier ?
