Used online service, felt processing time is quicker than check and send or postal application. Just be careful the declaration form is printed properly and signed exactly within the box as we had to send it twice. Other than that very good service.

I thought my final post would be re naturalisation timelines, but having used this wonderfully useful forum to match the progress of my passport application, I will contribute (now for the last time!!!) to the collective wisdom:

My understanding is that the one can book interview after a couple of days since application without a letter. The woman on the phone was adamant that we could only book appointments starting from the next week, e.g. I phoned on Tuesday, and she was only willing to give appointments from next Tuesday onwards, but it felt like she created that "process" herself.
