British Passport Information.

1 am British, living in the UK. My wife is a Ghanain and she gave birth to our daughter in Ghana this year.
She applied for a spouse visa and has got it.

My daughter is British by descent since at the time of her birth I was already a British citizen.
If we apply for a British passport for my daughter in Ghana, the process can takes at least 12-20 weeks to complete(too long).

However,i applied for a 6 months visitor's visa for my daughter and the visa was granted. My daughter is now in the UK, can i apply for a British passport for her, whilst she's in the UK before her six months visitor's visa expires.

Please i need usefull infomation.

Did they know that your daughter was British before granting the visit visa?

If your daughter is British, then she may apply for a British passport at any time.

They know,because i included a copy of my british passport as part of the supporting documents for my daughter's visa application.
