Please also click here for information about UKM application process.bahamaland wrote:Hi,
I am about to send in my UKM application. I have a sibling brother who would also like to send in his application also. We are unsure as to how to proceed beyond this point.
Please click here and use the service called Nationality Checking Service which is offered by numerous Councils across UK for a small fee. You can not only send multiple applications, but also they will photocopy and attest your documents, send application on your behalf and return the originals back to you there and then.bahamaland wrote: Can we send our applications and documents in together with one packet - is this allowed? All documents are to be originals. I am asked to send my mother's expired passport. If I do this my brother will have to wait a few months until I receive the passport back before passing in his application. Is this a matter where one just has to wait or are there accommodations made for situations like these?
Thanks
You can send them in the same parcel but make sure the applications are clearly marked as separate. Provide a covering letter explaining the passport and any other documents that need to be shared for both applications. Is this a matter where one just has to wait or are there accommodations made for situations like these?
Oh okay, its surprising for me as registration by MN1 is done by NCS. Anyway they can always give NCS a call before going.CR001 wrote:I have a suspicion that NCS is not available for UKM applications as originals HAVE to be submitted. Neither the guidance notes or the form refer to being able to submit through NCS.
I know when I did my mothers application, we had to post it to the address in the guidance notes.
