drink driving

i was banned for driving for 3 years in drink and drive now its 5 yrs gone if i apply for passport would that still effect

Applying for British passport is still a distant aim - before that you have to enter UK and, under current rules, live in the UK for 3 years before you can apply for naturalisation.
