Applied on the 13th Jan.

Approval received: 13th march, letter dated 6th March.

Thank you all for your support, i am not just abandon this forum, i be around to help out wherever i can with whatever i know from my experience.

My wife has recieved the letter from council for ceremony but we have not recieved any confirmation from HO. I am not sure when we will get this. Anyone can share some views on this?

Altough I already had my approval and ceremoney and have applied for passports, I am here to encourage you all to have faith and have positive thinking. Very soon you all will get your approvals. Slow and steady wins the race............... I wish all the luck in the world to everyone of you.

I applied on 13th January. Anyone still waiting from before this date? Its awful having to wait with no ability to obtain a meaningful update.

Hi Chris1,

I applied on the 7th of January. I would try not to worry to much, as we have seen in the last couple of days more and more approvals for the beginning two weeks of January. There are still people waiting from October, November and December. I agree with you that it is very annoying that there is no way to track the application. It actually disgusts me that they use 2nd class stamps to post the approvals, especially when we have all paid close to £1000 to do this.

English language requirement: LIUK + UK degree
Date of application: 3rd January 2014
Date of receipt by UKBA: 8th January 2014
Date of acknowledgement : 27/01/2014
Date of debit of fees: 25/01/2014
Date of approval: 13/03/2014 (dated 06/03/2014)
Date of Ceremony:

I got the brown envelope yesterday. Wishing everyone success.
I called the HO earlier this week and was just told the application has been received!! nothing more info. At that time
it seems my approval was already in the post. So don't bother calling them.

Okay everybody, after the rant earlier,

I received the approval today

So

7th January - NCS
8th January - Received by UKBA (according to R.Mail)
25th January - Fees Debited
Late Janaury - Received acknowledgement letter (dated 25th January)
14th March - Received Approval (Dated 12th March)

The letter was also 2nd class mail, but it only took two days to receive.
The letter stated that a invitation to ceremony will be received in the near future.
I shall keep all updated.
My application was "striaght-forward" - i.e - married to Native born British citizen (i.e. ethnically english), no criminal record, no bad behaviour, etc

Hi Guys. I finally received the invitation to the ceremony today. Hopefully my Approval letter is on it's way too, because I would need it for my ceremony. Good luck for those who is still waiting. I dont know is it worth me contacting my MP to ask about my request to the Home office?

I has been 2 months now since I sent a request to the Nationality department to correct a spelling error on my certificate of Registration.

I got nothing...not even ack letter. All I know is they took the £94.00 fee back on 6th Feb.
