Finally i got my approval on saturday 15th March letter date 09th sunday
Thanks for all support

Applied date 21th jan
Ukba recived 22nd jan
Approval date 09th march letter recived 15th march at 11:30

I wil call to council tommow to book cermony
THANKS TO EVERY ONE SPECIALLY MEMBER BOARD

Finally got my approval letter

- here are my timelines

Eligibility criteria: 2 yrs HSMP + 3 yrs Tier 1(G) + 1 yr ILR
Language criteria met (UK degree, exempt countries, PBS used documents, NARIC, or B1 test): PBS used documents
Method of application: NCS
Date of application: 21/01/2014
Payment method CC/DC, Personal cheque, Bankers cheque etc: DC
Date of receipt by UKBA: 22/01/2014
Date of aknowlegment: 05/02/2014
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 03/02/2014
Date approval received: 14/03/2014 (dated 09/03/2014)
Date of ceremony: Called my local council today and there was no-one available from citizenship ceremony today, will check with them again tomorrow.

This forum has been of immense help during my last 6-7 years. Thanks to all the peeps who helped me during my journey and all the best to everyone waiting for their approvals.

Congratulations to all and lets hope the approvals continue to role in.
Called HO twice today and first time I was told my application hasn't been completed yet by HO and second time I was told that it has not been assigned to a case worker yet. I've applied on January 28th.

Which number to call ? as 0300 123 2241 with option 2 just gets cut on selecting option 2 .

I had to call over 20 times on 0300 number before I got through. Have you tried emailing them?

Hi everyone on this forum. I sent an email earlier today on 17/03/14 to HO (nationalityhelpdesk@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk) asking status of my application and they replied the same day:

"I have checked our records and can confirm a decision has been made on this application, the decision letter and any supporting documents will be with you shortly".

What does this mean? Does it mean its an approval? I applied on 16/01/2014 using NCS

It means they have made a decision, whether it is an approval or rejection. Be happy, at least now you know! Best of luck, and I hope it's an approval.

Thats been very quick,applied on 20th Jan and fee was deducted on 31st Jan ( 11 days not bad )

@midbar: put your full name, date of birth, HO reference, address. This way they will check and reply.

HO also emailed me (additional email sent by them today) when i asked when the decision was made and when the documents were despatched.
Decision date 06 March and documents despatch date 14 March.

Fingers crossed, hope its a 'Yes' decision, as my case was pretty straight forward.

I just read ur post. I dont trust these first line customer services because they dont have full access but still it is a quite worrying situation because God for bid what if he is really telling u the truth then it is very disappointing situation.

Called leeds council to arrange for the ceremony- next available date is 15 may. Asked for private ceremony- they took my number and said they would contact me in the next 10 working days!!!!!!! I am ready to pay money and still they don't seem too interested

I just noticed that 9th March is sunday! that means Home office is working on weekends to clear the applications including any backlogs...well then soon most of the applicants can expect good news.
