I called 2 times using old number. 2 different and contradictory answers. So not trustworthy reply.phospholipid wrote:have you tried the number? Well it's great news that at least you have been allocated a caseworker, can I ask when did you apply?milan69 wrote:The gentleman I spoke to was not from a call centre and it seems as if he was a case worker and the information he was giving me seemed like he was reading my file directly. He did not say his name nor introduced himself and he was little surprised that I am calling only 2 months after I submitted my application.

Thanks Chir. I need to travel while I wait for my new passport and was unsure if my ILR would be accepted at the Border on my way back. This seems to indicate that using my old passport along with the ILR would probably work.chir wrote: Just as an aside, I actually found out I had received citizenship when I arrived back on a flight from France. The border agent told me that it had been approved on the 11th (he had to look up my status because I had left my biometric card at home) - the letter was waiting for me when I arrived home.
Is that reference number yours or just anything for testing purpose?anotherbrickinthewall wrote:I called the new number with a random reference number and made up names. I was told - not assigned to caseworker!!!
