Finally I got my approval today. I did call HO once on 14-10-2014 and was told application is under process and I might listen in two weeks time. Thanks to everyone, congrats to who got approvals and good luck to who are waiting.

Wait is over. finally.

Called this morning and was told no decision has yet been made. I was praying the application becomes a success. Today received a letter dated 28 Oct stating it has been successful.

Hi people anyone has approvals from June . I apply on 13 June till now nothing I coll today HO and they told me no yet 6 month it's in process when I ask the guy what do u mean with that he say I just can see what is in system and HO its in liverpool and we are in Sheffield what a joke

Applied July 16, 2014 but because I did'nt enclosed my original Test Certificate they did not process my application until sometime October 25th.

Anyone else still waiting??

I applied on the 13th and still no news. I call once a week on Friday just to check but get the usual reply. The waiting is killing me but nothing else you can do.

Still waiting - husband applied on the 9th. The six-month deadline is looming, and the wait is killing us. Nothing else for it, I guess - and phoning the HO is beyond pointless

Still no reply friends!!! Any ideas ... Any one else waiting

Today is 2 weeks until 6 months so I will call and ask but expect the usual reply. Fingers crossed we all get good news prior to Christmas.

This is getting to be a bit of a joke among family and friends my side i don't know what everyone else thinks but i have never come across a worse service.

One week to go until we hit the six-month mark, and so I have just sent a letter to my MP. I used the opportunity not only to chase my husband's application, but also to highlight the shortcomings of the entire application process, and the fact that earlier applications (particularly May, June and July - the passport fiasco months) are being overlooked in favour of more recent applications. I see there are even November applications that have already been approved, while this thread has had hardly any movement in terms of new approvals in over a month. I hope the letter will make a difference, but I will report back either way. Good luck to all others who are still waiting.

I have applied for british nationality on 2nd june 2014 and the payment was taken within 2weeks, letter was sent by home office to confirm the same, but i havent heard anything regarding my application.

Is anyone else facing delay or what can cause this?

Strange to see the waiting times of some people here, while people who applied in Mid-October already got their approval.

The only explanation that can be is that there might be some nationalities which are being discriminated, and they delay processing their applications.

Hello Guys, Let me join the ever growing family. I kept an eye on this forum and finally decided to speak up. I am annoyingly frustrated by the service and unfairness UKVI provide. Like i know they are not doing us any favor, but we are not doing them any favor either. We paid for your service that we required and you cant even keep us uptodate with atleast where is our application progression is at. I applied with my family on 12th June 2014, and everytime i call them i hear, its still under consideration. I finally took the step of involving my MP , because we are about to hit 1 week mark from 6months ourselves, and i feel like nothing is moving and nothing will be moving due to xmas approaching. i will keep you all updated, but please any of you that have received any decisions, please keep us up to date, the progression of your application means that the conveyor belt of these applications in June is still moving. I think the application is individual based on cases but still, atleast keep us tracked with the stage of our application.

6 months today still no approval

I have sent my application for British citizenship in June 2014, and home office confirmed on the 27th of June 2014 that they received my application, today is 13/12/2014 and I am still waiting!!! I contacted my local MP after 4 month and they said you may need to wait up to 6 month, it will be 6 month in 10 days and still nothing! does anybody have a same problem here?
I have provided whatever they asked for!! a lot of people around me got theirs within 4 month and I am still waiting.. :/
