Guys movement has begun with May Applicant - I have monitored the site since I applied without Posting anything, but giving the circumstance we are all in and the anxiety and long wait, I thought I should share the good-news to lift up the spirit and manage expectation of People. Believe me when I say YOU are next ... It is coming! Good Luck everyone - God bless you and thank you!

I think you received the approval letter.. Congrats..Nir wrote:I may be wrong. Probably the letter I got indicating my application is successful is the approval letter.
The letter also indicated that I 'll be getting the another letter with in 2 weeks, inviting me to the Citizenship Ceremony. I have wait for that letter to book an appointment with local council. I got mixed up with ceremony letter with approval letter
No thats not correct. They should return all your documents ... this is the reason NCS is present so that your documents are verified by some official as a proof .. so that UKBA ppl dont need to see them again unless they have some serious question..dks100 wrote:Hi All,
Need a clarification, When I submitted my naturalisation application through NCS, they sent my original LIUK certificate to home office. They said that this certificate will not be returned to you and home office will keep it as it is not needed further. Is this the case with you all.
Regards,
Interesting .. it didnt happen with me if I remember correctly.. I have to check that document today..kt1mc wrote:dks100 I got the same message from NCS Bristol - they made copies of all my other documents and returned the originals to me, but with the Life in the UK certificate they sent the original because I would not need it again. here is the updated sheet guys... not long now and good luck everybody...MunchkinMoo wrote:Shaheen, any chance we can get the spreadsheet updated

You are right,I applied through Lambeth NCS in June,2014 and they did copies of all my supporting documents except Liuk result, they submitted the original to HO and gave me a copy of it. You should be fine.dks100 wrote:Hi All,

This is something more recent - I applied in February this year, and my LiUK cert was returned to me by NCS (Hillingdon). However, for my wife's application in May at same NCS, the lady told me that the home office now needs the original and it will only be returned in case the application is rejected.
can i be added?shaheen wrote:here is the updated sheet guys... not long now and good luck everybody...MunchkinMoo wrote:Shaheen, any chance we can get the spreadsheet updated
bartolomeo wrote:I am a May applicant. Just wanted to tell everyone to chill a bit. Noone promised us that we would get a decision sooner than 6 months' time. The fact that others got the answers earlier doesn't mean we would too. For all we had been told everywhere is that the decisions take up to 6 months. Noone lied and noone promised anything sooner. We've all got our ILR/PR cards so are free to travel (unless some genius decided to send everyth off directly, rather than use NCS) and that should warm our hearts. Prepare for 6 months and be pleasantly surprised if you get the answer sooner.
Also, there is a backlog of passport applications, so there is no point in stressing over the timeline as you would just join another queue to get your passport and moan over there)) let it go, everything will be fine!
STOP STRESSING OTHERS! If I were an MP whom my constituent contacted, I would tell him to contact me after 6 months and not a day before. UKBA is already under the cosh for messing up passport backlog issue and your letter won't make any difference until 6 months are up.
