MN1 (registration) application processing timelines (only)

I am going to apply for my 3 kids for registration to be British.
I will send the application by post.
I do have one question:
Do I need to send my and my wife ILR biometric cards or photocopies are enough?

Thanks to Almighty today i received a registration of certification of my Daughter within almost 1.5 months .

here is the time line for my child Application:

Date of debit of fees: 18/11/2014
Date of receipt of approval: 21/11/2014

Date of receipt of registration certificate: 16/12/2014 (Approval letter and certificate both received in same envelope)

Hi Fabs, I have still not received it. Strange folks who have applied in October have received the certificate and we are still hanging around. Called them up , sent a letter with a self-addressed envelope on it but still no response yet. They have made the concerned pretty much stateless. Cant go for an indian passport as citizenship is already approved. Cannot go for british as do not have a certificate . What can i do ..................???[/quote]

UPDATE -
Here is my timeline. Naturalisation Applications are being approved already for September and October:

I have Permanent Residence and both children were born in the UK so it should be an easy decision.

Eligibility criteria: section 1(3) - (16 months old and 4 year old)
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Swindon
Date of application: 10/09/2014
Payment method: Credit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 11/09/14
Date of acknowledgment: 20/09/14
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 16/09/14
Date approval received: 16/12/2014 - for one child only. Still waiting for the other one.

Certificate dated 5/12, letter dated 8/12.

Received everything in a white A4 envelope, sent First Class.

Post updated before but forgot to mention it was through NCS so no document were due to returning, also it was with my own application so got daughter's certificate with my own, after my ceremony yesterday.

They did a funny thing to me. I received acknowledgement and it said that they have taken £669 from my card. They had actually took out £699. I sent an email and received another acknowledgement few days later stating that they have taken £699 from my card. With a further email, i received a refund (thankfully within 6 months).

Hi Vikash, I haven't received my too. I called them everyday last week same response they have raised the issue with the relevant case working team in Nationality Directorate and investigation are currently taking place. This's the 2 month just for them to re-sent another certificate, God why me again....!!!!!!!! I am so frustrated with myself..........[/quote]

have you received your certificate?what in my case is i called HO they said decision has been made on 11th December 2014 and posted on 18th December 2014. HO said i have to wait till 5th January 2015....i will call tomorrow

Its almost 11 Weeks now but didn't hear anything from HO after acknowledgement. Did anyone get approval applied nearby dates?

I have applied for my kids Naturalisation on 1st of July and today its 7th January 2015 I didn't hear anything from home office I called them today and they said it is still in consideration. Can you anyone tell me why it is taking that long?

Hi Guys,

I recently got my indefinite leave under the 10 years long residency. I am about applying for the british citizen through registration
(form MN1) for my two children who were both born in UK ( 3years and 1 Years). THEY DON'T HAVE NIGERIA PASSPORT.
Please I will like to know if they will required getting Nigeria passport to submit for their British citizen registration as proof of identity OR JUST SUBMIT ONLY THEIR UK BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

I don't want to waste my £669 application fee to UKBA .PLS ADVICE ME ON THE CORRECT DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT.
