My baby application timeline are almost same as yours ..
i applied for my 2 years old daughter born in Uk been never out of uk under section 1(3)
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 15/01/2015
Receipt of acknowledgement states it may take up 6 months...was it same in your case also or different ?

Just ignore that whatever is written in the acknowledgement letter that is a standard text. I have noticed they are processing the applications in two weeks, in most of the cases people received their approval withing 10 days after receiving acknowledgement letter. You should expect to get your approval any day of this week.

Hello. I have British citizenship and passport for 1 year and decided to apply for my child. My case should be very easy to decide. However, nearly 5 months wait and 4 calls to the HO just to confirm that the application is still under consideration with no result.

Anyone still waiting for approval around 5 months after submission? Just started to get worried when look at the approvals for just under a month!

Hi,

i have applied for my daughter Mn1 registration certificate in September 2014. i called HO i came to know that certificate has been issued on 11th December 2014.

HO said that you have to wait until 5th January 2015 i did not receive it yet i sent them email many times and wrote letter.Its nearly 2 months now that descision has been made.i called them again today they r saying we r investigating.

Anyone in the same situation?
