my timelines :

Date and Method of application: 20/08/2015 by ncs
Date of receipt by UKBA: royal mail status shows delivered on 21/08/2015
Date of debit of fees:
Date of receipt of acknowledgement:
Date of biometric letter:
Date biometrics enrolled:
Date of receipt of approval:
Date of receipt of documents:
Date of receipt of registration certificate:

I have a doubt regarding the travel, hopefully someone can helpme

my daughter currently holds Indian passport and T1 dependent visa which is valid until 4th Sept 2015. we have a travel plan in December and looking at current time lines we may not get her British passport before that. But in case if she gets her MN1 approval letter in December can she travel on her Indian passport and approval letter? or do we need to wait for British passport?

Thanks

Hi

If you go back on this forum there are few who received approvals.

Can all of us send letters to HO asking status or saying why such a simple process is taking that long. Each application don't have more than 3 to 4 documents attached so verification can't take 6 months as adults ILR applications are much more complicated and still getting response in 3 to 4 months. Someone told me if more applicants enquire they might response and give rough date when they will be taking decision. I will be sending letter to ho tomorrow.

Good luck everyone I hope we get it soon. This is second week with no approvals really pathetic HO

Thanks

Its really Frustrating for simple application and that too when NCS has checked before sending to Home Office.

I am thinking of writing to Home Office but not sure would it be a better idea to request local MP to write to Home office Generally not specific application number ?

and I came to know in 2013 they used to send the Certificate in two months.

The email address you mention is for biometric issues or regarding biometric can get status from this email.
Yes try to send your request to them..I hope you will get postie response. I have applied 5months ago(16/03/15 -via NCS) still no confirmation letter. So I have tried different options like calling HO,mail sent to local MP,mail sent to No 10, mail sent to BBC DISPATCHES( ), Request sent in WHATDOTHEY KNOW and mail sent to AppointmentExceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and above all I got positive response from AppointmentExceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk . So sent follow up mail week after and as you know I got call from HO(1 week after) as explained in my previous post.... So hope for best...
Even If I get my certificate in couple weeks time I want to do something about it.. as every one suffering We have to esclate it to some how...I got few Ideas  like CHANGE.ORG petition or file case with crowd funded organisation... If anyone have other ideas please share .. or start new post to get an update/support which will be helpful for future applicants.

Humanityrultz-------16/3/2015---------?--------------------------------?---------------------NCS :?:

Strange thing happened today I got call from HO and said "they are going to make decision on my application today (Fingers crossed !) and will get confirmation letter(Yes or No) with in 2 to 3 weeks time 8) " I think reason they called me today is I send mail(Last week - 2 times) to AppointmentExceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk requesting an update.
Sit tight I hope you will get an update soon.. All the best...
I will update as soon as I get the news.... :|

Not looking great for the MN1 1(3) applications.

Got the following response from Home Office:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... ing-697723

Based on the statistics provided, 76% of March applications are still pending. So for April, May, etc. will be still a long wait.

You are misinterpreting it. 76% was pending on the 31 March, and not now, as explained in one sentence in their response:

"Any application which has been completed after 31-Mar-2015 is deemed pending as in line with published stats." "Data can only be provided up until 31-Mar-2015 as in line with published stats. "

They will be providing updated statistics (till end of June) on 27 August.

This is very painful process.. few of my friends applied for their kids in January 2015 and got the certificate in 20 days and passport in 5 working days (All sorted in a month).

I applied the certificated for my son in April. i was thinking i will get my son passport in a month and booked my holidays & bought the tickets as well but its look like home office spoiled my all plans. I called HO they said, don't call us before 6 months.
