3 weeks past since the receipt by UKBA and no fees collected. Still waiting...

Although the amount of a 1550 for joint application is not deducted on the BALANCE of the online banking, the AVAILVABLE money are less than 1550!

The payment is processed for the application received by UKBA on 23rd Oct. ! Soooo happy, after more than 5 weeks waiting.

Case Progress: Called local council this morning (29/11/13) to enquire about booking citizenship ceremony. Informed by lady she has received my wife's Certificate but cannot book ceremony until my wife receives her Home Office letter.
Looking at my timeline, it appears Home Office is processing applications fairly quickly. Will keep forum updated when my wife receives her approval letter. The only downside now is that she needs to wait until January for Ceremony.

Congratulations! But for the moment, only one application has been processed since 23 October. Everyone who sent the documents after this date is still waiting for acknowledgment and fees.

2. Documents delivered to UKBA on 8th October 2013.
3. Acknowledgement letter – 23rd October 2013.
4. Money Deducted from the account – 24th October 2013.
5. Receipt of acknowledgement letter – 26th October 2013.
6. Receipt of Approval letter – 21st Nov 2013 (Dated 19 Nov 2013).

Are there people who are still waiting for debit of fees for application received on 23rd October by UKBA ? My application has been received by UKBA on 23/10/2013 but absolutely no news about anything at all . Should I write to UKBA with my Royal mail tracking number for the reason of this delay ? thanks

Hi Sarvosuper. Check the thread oct timeline. There are few 23oct applicants who had their fee debited today so it won't be long for you. May be tomorrow or if HO work on Sunday a day after. I am too waiting mine was delivered on 25th. Good luck and keep us posted.

I m in same situation as u.. royal mail tracking says reach HO on 23 Oct... no fees deducted yet... don't worry... I now there is lots of application made that time.. so I am sure we r next in the queue...

Don't worry , It took me 3 months to get the approval , despite the fact that my application was very straight forward

I've applied for Naturalisation straight after receiving my ILR, as I'm married to BC!

I was told that I do not need wait for 1 year after receiving my ILR because I'm married to BC; hence I need to prove that I've completed three years of continuous residence in the UK including time spent on student visa before married to BC!!!

Does these kind of application, where an applicant is claiming time spent on other visa's take longer???? I didn't ask to apply desecration on my the naturalisation form, should I've asked for it????

Hi, my timeline is similar to yours and I am still waiting. Called HO on 29/11/2013. They said my application is on the system and with them. Decision has not yet been made. There is definitely no logic to their order, but no point panicking. I would be thrilled if it is done before the end of this year.

Hi Rana,
Below is my timeline. My case is similar to yourself, as I applied for AN as soon I received my ILR. I don't think we have to ask for discretion as we fulfill naturalisation requirements. Like you, I have a feeling they are delaying such applications. Anyway there is no point trying to second guess the HO, it might only drive us more nuts. But hope we hear from HO sooner than later. Give them a call or fire an email, it could do no harm.
