I don't understand why some people are posting abuse towards the Home Office.
As Collipu said above, some countries needs extra checks, and also I believe that HO contacts our home countries which may take a while.
Do you really think that an officer will be sitting there drinking coffee and waiting for an answer from your country???
The answer is NO. They take a next application and process it. And if it happens to be an easier one the results will be sent earlier.
BE PATIENT WE WILL GET THERE IN THE END!
I agree with what you're saying

You are completely wrong dear. The waiting times is six months but when you start seeing application months after yours coming through and you know of a fact that you have been law abiding and your case is straight forward, you begin to wonder why so many application are coming through before yours.

Hi guys,

I received my supporting documents yesterday but no sign of the approval letter yet.

Is that the process? Do you receive your supporting documents first?

Exactly Ajanaku !!! you share my sentiments ... When your case is not even been assigned to a caseworker to even look if any further checks are required, but on the other hand people who have just applied few weeks back are getting decisions made it whacks your brains out trying to understand how actually things work !

How do you think its even a descent service standards where there are people waiting from 4-5 months to just get assigned to a caseworker but the applications submitted as recent as 4 weeks earlier are already processed ...

Completely agree with what you are saying sameeer. My theory about high risk countries processing taking time doesn't stand considering you are not from one and still waiting. There is just no que system!!
