lol you sound like one of those useless home office guys defending yourself ... there is definitely no logical explanation for not considering an application prior to those who apply later on ... common sense mate ...
The mischief is rather on the home office ends and needs to be thoroughly investigated ... surely there will be loads of skeletons coming out ... as always something or the other !
Seriously guys, whingeing and whining is not helping anyone, so please just wait and stop wasting HO personnel time, so they can get on with their job.
Exactly Ajanaku !!! you share my sentiments ... When your case is not even been assigned to a caseworker to even look if any further checks are required, but on the other hand people who have just applied few weeks back are getting decisions made it whacks your brains out trying to understand how actually things work !Ajanaku wrote:You are completely wrong dear. The waiting times is six months but when you start seeing application months after yours coming through and you know of a fact that you have been law abiding and your case is straight forward, you begin to wonder why so many application are coming through before yours.anotherbrickinthewall wrote:People showing desperation must have skeletons hidden in the cupboard and are wary these will come out the longer HO spends on their application. Completely agree with what you are saying sameeer. My theory about high risk countries processing taking time doesn't stand considering you are not from one and still waiting. There is just no que system!!sameeer wrote:Ajanaku wrote:anotherbrickinthewall wrote:People ]

How do you think its even a descent service standards where there are people waiting from 4-5 months to just get assigned to a caseworker but the applications submitted as recent as 4 weeks earlier are already processed ...

I was viewing all post regularly from last 2-3 weeks, and was getting little nervous when I saw people who applied in Jan 14 getting their approval, Last week I gave a call to HO contact, however person over phone said application still need to be process and 6 months is waiting duratiion and you need to wait till that time, I assume response over phone depend on person or their mood(so HO response should not be taken as accurate), wishes you all to receive your approval soon
Goodluck

Do you know why yours took so long?
did you have independents on your application? or just yourself?
Thanks
As usual the good for nothing people sitting at the customer service desk simply do a copy paste of a response... guess they are incapable of reading and understanding the emails and providing appropriate answers...apple02 wrote:Well done, am happy that October batch is almost complete. Also like he said, I don't think its wise to trust the emails or HO anymore. When I phoned HO back in January about my application, they guy said on the system it shows still in progress when my application was already approved and dispatched to my address. So your best option is just waiting and find something to preoccupy your time until you get the surprise brown letter.nionlight wrote:Finally I got the letter! Thanks to Almighty![]()
Application date: 15/10/2013--NCS
Acknowledgement: 5/11/2013
Approval dated: 24/02/2014 ( received 28th)
One suggestion for people still waiting: Please do not lose hope and DO NOT be upset upon what you hear from HO call centre or emails about 'no decision is still made on your application'
I called them on 27th and they said it is still in process and no update. But the approval date was dated 24th.
Good luck all. You will get there eventually.
