Dear cheekyvirgin,

Wholehearted congratulations to you!

How did you manage to get it so quick? Did you:

a) do anything special? or
b) make any expedition request? or
c) provide any specific documents?

Please shed some lights.

I've submitted mine in 07/04/14 and still waiting!!!!
I've sent a complain email, few days after I received a phone call but nothing usefull. "Your application is in process and you need to wait more" but for how long?!!!! No answer.
I sent a letter to HO but no reply!
I've emailed Mr. MP twice but he has replied yet!

What else I can do?!
According to the Home Office and solicitor once it has been six months you need to phone the Home Office and they will give you an address to write to. This will be your case worker and they are bound to give you notification as to where you application is and other useful information. Get the address, write and keep on pestering them. Otherwise contact your MP and they will respond.

I was advised to wait as I have another month until it will be six months! I was also advised that I would not be told if the application was successful this will not be confirmed over the phone. Once it becomes the 6 month minimum period you need to contact the Home Office call centre and you will be given the contact details for your case worker.

Everyday seems to be an agonising wait! Is anyone else in a similar situation?
Hi Boone,
Could you please let me know what number you are calling.
Thx's

£906 includes ceremony fee unless you want to book a private ceremony.

Finally an update on my application after 2 weeks of anxious wait as i did not know whether my app was lost by Royal mail or received by HO as RM website did not give update about delivery and even my council thought the app was lost.
I haven't got an acknowledgement letter/email yet but money has been taken from my cc on 27/10/2014. Atleast that confirms that HO did receive my app.

Looks like HO started august application now. But I'm still waiting for mine from 8th of July. I thought it will be a quick process as my application was straight forward but it taking longer than ILR application. Really disappointed with their service.

It seems HO has a standard answer. I haven't heard from anybody who was told that the application was completed. Any thoughts on the call representatives ?
