Hello guys , I'm desperately to your advice.. :'(

I have submitted a naturalization application back in November 2014 , on December they sent me an acknowledgment letter after deducting the money. since that time I didn't hear anything from them. Is already 9 months and I didn't receive an update or any form of reply from the home office.

I called them on the first week of July to ask for update, but I have been told somebody will call me back to update me with the status of my application within 72 hours, I called them back on the second week of July and they told me the same think , but no body called me. I called them again on the third week of July and I have been told the same think again over and over. I didn't give up so I have called on the last week on July and been told that somebody will call me , but sadly no body called me in a month time. Which is so sad.

Now can anyone advice me what should I do , I applied on November with a straightforward application , but until today I didn't receive any update in 9 months time :'(.

Any help advice be much appreciated and thank you for reading my issue

You must contact your Local Mp , to write down the letter to home minister as they are the one who can ask on behalf of you,
You must write an email asking for update too.

My application was straight forward as well. And i recieved mine after 8 and a half month. So just wait. Otherwise u can write to ur MP to write to them on ur behalf.

Could anyone please let me know whether any one got the approval letter from Home Office who applied in 2 nd week of April. We are going on a holiday in October and I am hoping my son could get a letter before Sept to apply for the British Passport. Another issue is his Indian passport expires on 23 rd Sept. So if he doesn't get a letter then I need to apply a new Indian Passport and followed by Schengen Visa.

They say its taking around 5 months for all application made after 6th April. So since they acknowledged receipt in May, I'd be inclined to go 5 months from then

There has not been a single approval on this site for anyone who applied post 6th April 2015

First of all thanks very much for running this really useful forum. I made my application on the 6th of May, and I only received the acknowledgment letter up to know. As far as I can see from the previous posts, very few people who applied in May got approval, but I have not even received the biometrics letter. I am really worried that there might be a problem with my application. Do you think this is normal? I am thinking of contacting the Home Office to ask about the biometric letter, but I am not sure whether this is possible at all.
