Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

i would like to let you know i had applied for my student extension on 28/03/2012 awith toeic but my visa was refused and i didt get my visa with toeic. then i went in appeal and during appeal my 10 years were completed and i switched my application from student visa to ILR on 10 year basis. then i got my ILR after 3 months. i did send my toeic with ILR but at tht time english test was not required for ILR only Life in UK was required but i sent just as a support, and got my ILR.
with nturalisation i sent english b1 of trinity college but dont know y taking long
can any one help me that will it effect on my application.

Wow! That is super fast!! HO must be caught up on the backlog! I applied in August for UKM and still awaiting my approval after submitting my Bio's in October! Good sign!

Annoyingly, the acknowledgement letter was sent to a wrong address (another door downstairs). Luckily the postman knew us and delivered it the the right pigeon hole. Have emailed and written to HO asking them to correct the address, but hard to know whether they will do so and how long this will take.

same thing for me I applied on 12th of November, received by the HO 16th and still no payment has been taken , I paid by cheque and it is worrying .

It took 4 months in my application. I know how you all feel those are waiting. I would like to thank each an everyone who's posting for help and informations for those who need it. Special thanks to site owner. I am so happy and thank Allah that I no longer have to wait for the brown envelope.

Yes you can, just make sure you have done your biometric enrolment and have someone to keep an eye on the post

Yes assuming you will have someone to keep an eye on the post, once you have received the approval letter you will have 21 days to book the ceremony. The ceremony varies from boroughs to boroughs, however, you can also go for private ceremony which will be additional cost.

3) can I go back and apply for passport from a different country? if not how long would it take since ceremony, passport application, to get the passport?.
Yes you can apply passport from different country see Overseas British Passport (click)
Currently the average passport processing timeline is 2-3 weeks if applying from within UK
