Aaah, it usually gets messy if you send out another payment before they ask for it, as the new payment you send doesnt ever get clubed with the application, it probably goes directly into their payment department. Was there a fee reference number you mentioned when you sent out the first payment ... if not there are chances, you are charged twice, do check your bank statement.amity010 wrote:Eligibility criteria: Joint Application - 5 Yrs Tier 1 General + 1 Yr ILR

Notes
3 weeks after the application on 18/11/2013, the debit card got stuck in a faulty cash machine. The bank had to re-issue a new debit card.
At that time the fee was not taken out, so we sent an updated payment slip to Home office on 16/12/2013. They received it on 17/12/2013 (next day signed for delivery). This was sent to the same address as to which NCS sent the initial application.
Meanwhile checked with the Nationality helpdesk email Id regarding the correct address to send the payment slip. They responded back on 17/12/2013 stating a different address.
Payment slip was again (SECOND time) sent on 18/12/2013 to the new address stated. They received it on 19/12/2013 (next day signed for delivery)
Acknowledgement letter received on 17/01/2014 [Dated 13/01/2014] saying debit card declined and demanding alternate payment. So obviously they are not checking/processing the mails properly as they havent seen the updated debit card details yet.
Payment slip now sent again (THIRD time) on 18/01/2014. This should reach there on 20/01/2014. Hoping to be third time lucky. Lets wait and see.
But seems to me that their overall process is not working.
