WOW it seems they are approving most applications within a few weeks. Great news everyone fingers crossed.
I'm still waiting for the brown envelope.

Is anyone else in here applying after EEA 6 years? If so, does anyone know whether the processing time is the same as everyone else's?

I had spoken to the guys at Home Office a few days back, but after 11/12/14 and they still did not tell me at that time that a decision had been made. So, the trick of calling them did not work in my case Anyways, I am wondering how is it possible that a second class post can take 13 days to reach, when others in the Slough region also got their post today on 24/12/14 dated 20/12/14. I really wonder if they randomly date the approvals

Anyways, the approval is here, ceremony booked. So, all good. Thanks to all at the forum for your support and posting your stories. If 11/12/14 is indeed when my approval was made then it took under 10 business days for them to give approval from the time of deducting money, which I find quite commendable. Overall I had my approval in hand in 35 calendar days since making application, and I am quite pleased about it.
