Just a quick question.

Hello again.

I have posted on here before but today I want to know if thier are any type of IT jobs on demand in Canada. I really love IT and want to study it further.

Is their any IT skills I can gain to use for a job in Canada in my future?
I want to do Programming, building computers and learning their comonents.

I really want to do software development and game designing aswell.
I also want to learn Java language and I am currently trying to start learning a little bit of C++ language aswell.
If I do any of these could I use these to immagate to Canada in the future?
If not could I create a business and take it to Canada?

I am not sure how good the opportunities there are for programming careers, but remember that the average processing time for any Canadian visa that leads to work/settlement/PR, takes on an average of 8 – 10 years from the date of visa application.. its minimum 8+ years at this time - Investor, Startup, Entrepreneur visas (FSW visa / PR ruled out for Computer / software industry).

Even the most basic spousal visa takes about 2 – 3 years average.

quantumscience Thanks :)

I've looked around a lot... I'm still in education years well as you know you leave school but in the UK now have to stay in education for another 2 years either in a College or an Apprenticship.

I learnt that I can get a student visa and go to college in Canada and have to come back to the UK but that does increase my chance of getting to Canada but I don't know if it reduces the timespan on how long it takes.

I have also found International apprenticeships around the world some even in Canada. Maybe I could try to get an apprenticeship in the IT Industry but I don't know just yet still doing my research.

I guess I could try moving around the country or try go to other countries. I really don't like my part of the country. Its around the Birmingham area its not very nice here, my opinion anyway.

Nice talking to you quantumscience have a nice day and if you wanna move to singapore then I wish you luck getting their :)

Many thanks,
Jordan

It's nearing the time I leave school and go onto college now.

I've applied for a Level 3 course the best one I can do at the momment. When I get my grades, if I get my predicted grades the man I spoke to said I would beable to do that course. I'm supposed to get an acceptance letter in the next 2 weeks so I have a place for me I just need my grades.

It's a 2 year course once I have done it I can move on to a level 4 HNC course or go to Uni. If I do a level 4 HNC course I have no funds to pay and it makes it even easier for me to get accepted to a univercity. If I go to uni I plan to go to one in Canada because I could use that to try imagrate to Canada.

Anyway what I want to do in the future is be a game developer.
If I do become a game dev I have to be ok with moving to a different country and lots of countries etc. You never know I might get put in Canada if I succeed.
