I sent my application for PR end of April , money taken the next day they received my application. So far no email confirmation or letter requesting biometric enrolment yet.

I am applying as a non-EEA family member. My EEA husband does not have PR, we both thought he doesn't need it. However, I read from one of the posts here that the EEA sponsor needs to have PR too before the non-EEA family member can apply for it. Or both should submit applications together. Is that true?

Dear all,

I am still waiting for Biometric Enrolment letter or email confirmation or COA from Home Office . Is it normal for non-EEA family member application ?

Hello tyg66 this is Very strange, do you know why the letter didn't let you work? Your ee sponsor is working ? Maybe another letter after they receive your biometrics details will be sent to you allowing you to working.
I think you received the biometric letter, and the confirmation letter(COA) you will receive after they receive your biometric details .

hey tony2015
I received both biometric and COA together and the reason for No Rights to Work is that insufficient evidence of my sponsor exercising treaty rights. it also said that they are not going to revisit that decision.

Hello Everyone,

First of all I would like to say Thank you for all of you and special thanks for ally007 , Carling40 , Noajthan , smallpie and many more than I have not mentions that always supportive and give a lots of useful informations.

Now it's time for me to share my completed timeline for everyone for the statistic and compare the timeline.
I am Non-EU Married EU
Here is my timeline for Permanent Resident
send application on : 25/11/15
Ho received on : 26/11/15
Payment taken on 30/11/15
Biometric letter dated on 14/12/15
received on 17/12/15
COA dated : 05/01/2016
Decision Letter dated : 05/05/2016 ( received 06/05/16 by specail delivery back with the all documents passport etc....)
Biometric Card : officially arrived 12/05/16 but I missed it and reschedule delivery which is fine.

Basically if you see my time line process is around 5 months and a half from the date of application, I think 2 weeks it's like Christmas break so roughly is 5 months I think which is not too bad it's long to wait I know.

I wish all of you good luck and have all documents and decision letter back soon. :-)
All the Best!

Update: My PR is refused.

Reason for refusal: Even though you meet all other residence requirements, you have failed to provide evidence that since your divorce on 14 October 2015 till the 4 November 2015 that your application was received by UK visa & immigration, you have been a worker, self employed person or a self sufficient person, how ever u have failed to provide evidence that you meet requirement of regulation 10(6) and you have therefore not retained a right of residence following divorce .

I wanted to share my timeline once it's complete, but it takes awfully long now, I'm wondering if there is anyone in the same boat. It's getting a bit unpleasant as we need to travel next week and we didn't request our passports back as I never imagined it would take this long. :|

I think this should be straightforward, EEA citizen (Hungary) with 6 years of UK history, no gaps in employment, WRS is ok, loads of evidences supplied.
+ my wife (EEA citizen) as family member in same application.

Check my timeline - they received my application on the 8th (the day before you) and I still haven't received an answer :(

Some people who applied earlier in March received their DCPR a couple of weeks ago so hopefully we'll get something soon.

Just an update on my timeline,

Documents sent: 23.01.2016
Documents received: 25.01.2016
Payment taken: 27.01.2016
DCPR received: 21.05.2016 (originally sent on the 5.3.2016 but to a wrong address, caseworker sent it to my previous address from 4.5 years ago)

I have speculated previously that requesting my passport might have delayed the process which is not the case, since if they have sent the DCPR to the correct address the first time I would have received it in 6 weeks time.

Good luck to all, and thank you for sharing your timelines and knowledge.
