Your docs seem fine. It's only been a few days and it's already the weekend. You'll have to wait at least a week before you get an acknowledgement letter. We applied on Oct 1st and got the acknowledgment around the 10th.

So did you get your COA yet ?? and if this takes this long I'd better join GYM instead of sitting home and get bored for nothing as I cant work got no passport no visa no work permit card etc.. sadly nothing ...and I sent my file by myself without any solicitor and we are genuine happily married couple. I really hope to get sorted all in 3 months so i can make a holidays trip in summer.

quick questions on unmarried couple rc application.
1.EEA and non EEA Couple been together for 2years (cohabiting)

3.EEA partner previously married but divorced( with dicree absolute )
4.have prove of cohabiting( bills etc)
Can application for a rc proceed or is there any other facts left.

Hello guys,

My short timeline:
Application received by HO: 16.10.2014
Acknowledgement letter received: 20.10.2014 ( dated 17.10.2014)
Confirmation Email with the Case ID: 03.11.2014
Certificate of application: still waiting! =(

Quick question: There are typos on my name in both the acknowledgement letter and the email they have sent to me. Should I contact and inform them of the typos or I should assume that they will eventually realize it?

cheers,

You're already ahead of us. Our COA took a week longer than you.

There's nothing you can do, we just have to wait now! It can take up to 6 months.

Not sure what you mean but 4-6 weeks does not apply for EEA2 residence card. As I noted above, it can take much longer than that. Hope it will be faster!
