Hey All,

I enrolled biometrics 13th of July 2015 and have not received COA yet. It almost been 2 months. Should I worry or call them?

What is e-mail and phone number for EEA applicants COA?

Nora--hopefully they do use your bag & you get it faster.

bilirserdar--hope you get it soon!

And hopefully someone from April gets the new version of the RC soon! Would be great to have a reference for how long the new RCs are gonna take.

Fingers crossed for all!

Did you receive biometric letter?
If you did not, I think you could call 03001232253.
According to documents that Home office issued, they will not begin to consider application until payment is cleared.
many thanks for you advice , I didn't received nothing was received by HO until now. I will try to call them.

Hi Atsha! To my knowledge, you can request ur passport back from Home Office by its online platform and it should not affect your application.

Also about NI number. According to my husband experience, he did not have NI number when he started working. Consequence is you would pay more tax until you apply and submit your NI number to your employer. But that excess amount charged from your salary in the beginning would be returned to you after your NI number submitted.

Sorry what do you mean you requested your partners brp back ? Our lawyers told us that the old visa is automatically cancelled when you apply for eea2
Hi Alex1128,

Just wanted to give you a little update on this as you've asked me to. You know my partner was abroad for the last few weeks. He came back a few days ago, and he entered the UK using his existing BRP (expiring mid 2016) like he always did, with no problems-questions etc. His EEA2 application wasn't mentioned at all. So we know now that his BRP is still definitely valid. Hope it helps :)

Hello

First time poster, although have followed these forums for some time in preparation to the big day, which is today: I just came from the post office after weeks of filling and correcting forms, compiling documents and reviewing and re-reviewing the whole thing.

Of course, my timeline is only one date, but I will give updates as soon as they happen.

EEA(EFM - unmarried partner - Colombian) & EEA(QP - French) joint application
Have been together for 3.5 years, and lived together for 2 years
I have a Tier 2 BRP residence permit expiring in Feb 2016.

I sent my application on special delivery, and I also enclosed a special delivery prepaid envelope for the return of all identity documents, which I asked in my cover letter. Before including the envelope in my parcel, the guy at the post office asked me to put all documents to be returned on the scale (which was easy as I had put them separately in a smaller envelope), then he calculated the price for the pre-paid envelope. He added a stamp on the pre-paid envelope then let me insert it in the parcel. I did not know this. I though you just enclosed the envelope!

Application sent: 09/09

Good luck to everyone

Thanks so much for this. This is definitely interesting for me, as I'm pretty much in the same situation. We are booked to go to a friend's wedding in Czech Republic in December, so I definitely need my passport and some form of visa by then if I want to attend. Not having too much hope to have the actual RC by then, I asked the HO to return all form of ID, that is, passports and BRP, so hoping they do and that my BRP is still valid!

Hi,

I sent my application 05/09/2015, they recieved it on 08/09 and today they took the payment.

I'm applying for RC EEA(FM). Venezuelan married to a Portuguese (gay couple).

We got one interview by phone (45min) when I applied for EEA family permit in November last year before coming to UK. Do you think we'll be contacted again for another interview? We're moving next month (we're living in a shared house, but we found a flat for us). So, we need to update proof of address during the application? Or just change the address via Internet?

Cheers,
