Thank you so much for the help! We gave the same card details for both applications and are making sure we constantly have enough money on it, are keeping the card at home (we just don't want to risk it getting stolen or losing it) but have done online transactions since then (all without a problem).... so hopefully it is just that the HO is taking the second payment later. But yeah, I guess for anyone reading this who hasn't yet applied: postal orders seem to be a better idea.alex1128 wrote:Normally the payments need to be done at the same time !!
However I have seen that many members have experienced payment problems ... i do remember that in one case they took only one payment and sent the buometucs and COA with no problem and in another the HO sent back the application after oe month saying that they wouldnt proceed with the application because there was a problem with the applicant's bank ... the safest way is to send postal orders !!
Hi, I am still awaiting the delivery of my RC. DX called today to say there was an internal problem hence the delay. I have rescheduled to have it delivered tomorrow.alex1128 wrote:as you can see in the timeline thread 3 September applicants have already received their RC :

Hi Alex,alex1128 wrote:If you read the application form you will find a section where it is asking for a 3 months payslips !
It takes between 2 and 5 weeks !!seitaj wrote:Hi everyone.. based on your experience and what you have seen on this forum, do you think that the CoA is issued 2-3 or 4 weeks after the biometrics are enrolled or 2-3 or 4 weeks after the application is sent to the Home Office? In other words the time the CoA is issued is based on the date of the application or the date of the biometrics enrolled? Thank you in advance.
My Timeline.
Application sent: 13th January
Received by HO: 14th January
Payment taken: 15th January
Biometrics received: 30th January (Dated: 28th January)
Biometrics enrolled: 2nd February
CoA : ?
BRC : ?
You finally got a reply, its a relief that you dont have to wait anymore!! I hope you will get the good news (fingers crossed)Nightwolf wrote:Guys quick update.....
I had contacted the home.office they finally gave a reply today and informed me that a package on my name has just been sent when i asked what was the decision they said they do not know.. they gave me the tracking number of it as well.. so lets see what we will get... now getting really nervous.. lets see what the outcome is..
Once you request the passports back with valid visas on them they should be fine ... applying for the eea2 does not cancel the previous visa they have, and requesting your documents back does not cancel your application as long as you dont tick the checkbox on the application form online !!Abs566 wrote:I would like to mention I am British National who was excercising my treaty rights in EU country and returned with my non- EU parents and applied for EEA2 application under surinder singh route.
My parents already have a 5 year residence permit for an EU country.
I have a question. we have urgent travel plans. Can we request our passports back without withdrawing application. Upon my return will my parents have any problem entering UK( we plan to carry their COA)
Is BRP a card or a Visa sticker on passport?
How long does it take after COA (if I do not request my parents passports back and let the whole process continue) for home office to return my passport.
Please help
