PR Application requiring CSI, Polish national

Post by miah44 » Mon Feb 06, 2017 9:35 pm

Hello,

I'm currently trying to apply for a permanent residency card so I can apply for a British password. Me and my husband are worried that I may get rejected because I didn't have comprehensive Heath insurance whilst living in the U.K.

I moved to the UK from Poland in July 2006 under the migrant worker scheme and have lived in the UK continuously since.

Job 1: 07-2006 -> 11-2006 (4 Months)
Job 2: 02-2008 -> 06-2008 (4 Months)
University: 09-2008 -> 07-2014 (5 Years 10 Months)
Job 3: 08-2008 -> 02-2010 (1 Year 6 months) (employed while studying)
Job 4: 08-2011 -> 04-2012 (8 Months) (Work placement during degree)
Job 5: 09-2015 -> 07-2016 (10 months) (teacher training with placement's at schools)

Other points (not sure if they would help)
* My husband is British (married for 6 years).
* I have a daughter who was born in the UK (June 2013).

Are there any other routes I can take to getting to obtaining a permanent residency? I am currently looking to see if I was covered for health insurance back in Poland.

Thank you for any advice you can give.

British spouse and children don't help.
You need to naturalise before finally applying for passport.

What were you doing in 2007?

Did you ever register on WRS?

If no CSI did you have foreign EHIC and/or student RC?

Thanks for clarifying

I was living with friends but not working in the UK in 2007. Yes I was registered on the workers registration scheme when I entered the UK. Im still checking if I had EHIC but it's unlikely. What is a Student RC?

So legally present but not legally resident in UK in 2007 unless selfsufficient with CSI.

Were you on WRS for the requisite first 12 months of work?

Student RC is a residence certificate issued to you as a student.

Thanks,

I was registered with WRC for the required first 12 months of work in my third job (2008) would this help?

Can I back date my student RC?
