WRS again

Post by MartinXX » Thu Feb 02, 2017 12:25 am

Hi, I'm EEA national living and working in the UK since 2008. I've recently wanted to apply for a British passport for my daughter born in the UK in 2014, based on my exercising Treaty rights for 5 years prior to her birth. However when collecting the documents I realised I might have an issue with the WRS. I registered with WRS within days from being employed (March 2008) however I was first employed by an agency and even though I continued to work in the same place, doing the very same job, after 6-month probation my contract was transferred from the agency to the actual employer. Obviously it happened during the 12-month period following WRS registration but as I physically remained in the same job and place, is there any chance of this being counted as uninterrupted employment?
