Java
Context and mission
As a member of the R&D department, you will be responsible for implementing new functionalities or/and support customer initiated enhancements in Odyssey enterprise software projects. You will participate as a Java Developer within this team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Participating to technical analysis in collaboration with the technical architects and business analysts.
* Coding, unit testing new functionalities.
* Contributing to the maintenance of the product.
* Collaborate with team members to find alternative design approaches to complex technical issues.
* Support QA testing.
Profile
* Graduate in computer science or equivalent.
* A minimum of 2 - 3 years working with Object-Oriented design, algorithm development, and code reuse.
* 2 years of Java development experience.
* 1 years of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL or DB2.
* Experience with web user interface design & development (JSP, HTML, Java script, CSS, etc).
* Experience with automated testing technologies (jUnit, jWebUnit, Fitnesse).
* Experience with UNIX and shell script development is a plus.
* Familiar with IBM Cognos, WTX or Websphere clearly advantage.
* Good communication skills (Oral and written).

DB2
Context and mission
As a member of the R&D department, you will participate in the migration of our WealthManager software from Oracle to DB2. Your responsibilities will include: participation to the requirement definition in collaboration with the business analysts, technical architect, porting an application written in Java, development of new functionalities, contribution to the maintenance of the product and internal consulting.
Profile
* Higher Education in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
* 2-3 years experience in DB2 Database Application Development
* Experience in Oracle is obviously a plus.
* Java development skills are clearly an asset.
* Familiarities with Unix OS (AIX / Solaris) usages are clearly advantage.
* Good communication skills (oral and written).
* We are not looking for a DBA, but DBA skills in setup and tuning are welcome.
