Bank statements Requirements for Schengen Tourist Visa !

Hi all,

I wonder anyone can help me out. We are planning summer holiday in Italy & France within 2 months period. We need to apply for Schengen Tourist visa. As we are three member of family planning for 45 days long Multi entry Visa, I think I need to have bank balance of £50*3*45days for 3 months. But I am little confused. Do I need to show them that balance for 3 months period or last balance ?.

As, I have couple accounts & share investment account, my balance always varies. So, I need this information immediately, to take decision about my bank & share account,

Please let me know ASAP.

Below was the rule when i applied Swiss Schengen visa last month, i got a 3 month multiple entry.

Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay
UK Bank statements for the last three months, not older than one week (please note that cash and credit card statements are not acceptable proof)
