Schengen Visa Question

Hello,

My wife has an expiring Schengen visa (17th Feb) however she intends to fly to Paris (end of Feb), Slovenia (March) and Portugal (July). She's South African with BRP in the U.K.

What's her best route to apply for Schengen, go the French route or go back to the Portuguese embassy where her last few have been issued?

I think the general rule has always been first county of planned entry or country spending most time in.

Remember too Schengen visas are 90 days in every 180....
