SPAIN Immigration Please Help! I'm so confused

Post by xxikickers » Thu Dec 01, 2005 6:41 am

I heard that former colonies of Spain can obtain Citizenship after 2 years of "residency" or residencia. Honestly, I'm so confused with Spanish Law and its not very detailed it seems I cannot find any English Websites about this law. Even the Spanish Government Websites totally lack of information. I cannot even ask a Spanish lawyer because I don't know where they are and how you can talk to them. Its so frustrating can somebody in here please clarify to me what it means by 2 years of residency? does that mean permanent residency like you get it after 5 years or any type of residency? student residency others? I hope someone can help me.

Thanks
