What is the citizenship of your spouse? Where does he/she live?

Is it your intention to move to Hungary with your wife, or are you planning to do just a short visit there?

A little more background would help: What does she do in the UK? When did you get married?

Are you both going to remain for a while in the UK? What is she doing right now in the UK?

The nice thing is that you have easy routes to stay in each of those place. What you are going to need to apply for is a Residence Card (for family members of an EU citizen). You can do that in the UK, in Hungary, in Spain, or in any other EU/EEA member state. You really just need to decide where you are going and apply when you arrive.

Your wife just needs to be working or a student, or whatever it is that she is doing. But for the first 90 days in new place she does not have to do anything particular.

As your wife is Hungarian you can likely either apply on the basis of traditional Hungarian law, or on the basis of Eu law (since she was a worked in the UK and is now returning home).

Will you be returning to the UK for a while after you get married, or are you moving to Hungary and then getting married?

There is a bit of information at http://eumovement.wordpress.com/eu-coun ... o-hungary/

If you are getting a EU-law Residence Card it will take a maximum of 6 months. But likely less. The very efficient Germans issue them in a few days.

I am not sure about Hungarian law permits. Sorry...

You can go to ANY EU member state where you wife is living and working.

If you decide to go back to the UK, you can work full time starting immediately if that is what you want to do. Or continue studying. But you will not longer need to pay anything for visas.

What exactly is the issue you are trying to deal with? What are you worried about?
