You need a Belgium work permit. Your ILR is irrelevant to countries outside the EU in regards to working and living.

You would be able to work if you were British without a visa (for now).

Irrespective of visa issues, don't do it, Belgian tax is crippling and as tax is due where the work is done, you can't avoid it.

Thank you Very much Appreciated .
Yes i saw the Wall street journal last week about belguim TAX issue.

TBH the offer is quite tempting.

Will this work .

I set up a limited company in the UK and raise the Invoice and the client pays me here ,

I Travel to Belguim on a Business visa temp for 6 months and i apply for my GB passport here in the interim ?

Need to somehow work this out . I am eligible for GB passport longtime back .

Won't work, business visas preclude actual productive work, only covers you for meetings, presentations etc. And they are only 90 days (in every 180) anyway.

Also in the contracting world (one man companies) the company moves with the controlling member (you) opening up a world of tax woes.

It's important the remember that whilst the EU offers freedom of movement and labour, it does not mean freedom of choice for of regime - there is no EU tax harmonisation, it all moves to the location where the work is done.

Question is redundant anyway, your only way forward is UK citizenship and passport, or EU Bluecard/local WP, neither will fit the timescales involved.

Thank you V much appreciated.
Needed a reality check which you truly provided .
Option 1 You mentioned above to apply first naturalisation which I will start Monday is the best I feel .If I tell the client
May 15 joining would you recommend.
By then I should have my GB passport provided

All in order .

Kind regards ,
Mohammed

Don't assume that you will have a British Passport by May. Some members have been waiting for citizenship approval for many months and some for over a year.
