A8 emigration Enquiry

Post by JGNS25 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 6:36 pm

Good Afternoon,

Im a Czech citizen who has been living in the UK since July 2010, I am considering to apply for permanent residence in July 2015.
The first year from Jul 2010 till July 2011, I didn't Work because I was a student at Brighton University .Since then, I have been working until now, never claimed benefits or requested any kind of public funds.

I had my bank account since Jan of 2011, but not prove of address the first 6 month (I was and am living with family so I don't have a tenancy contract those 6 month. However, I can prove that the first 3 month I was living in the student halls(payment receive).

I got an English certificate from Brighton university that I'm English fluent + prove of address since Jan 2011.

Could I apply for permanent residence? would It be rejected my application? I don't have a WRS because I wasn't working before Jul 2011 and the program was abolished on April 2011 so I didn't apply because I wasn't by that time a worker. However, I did an appointment for my NI in Jan 2011 .

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

J Neumann

A8 country's nationals were only required to register under wrs schem if they are working. But students were needed to be covered by their csi policy to count that time as legal.

If i didnt have one but If I
prove that my parents were covering me financially in case of any illness and I prove that they had the balance to cover me, would my application still reject it?

Not really, you'd have to show an official policy/document from the Insurers.
