Can Driving licence be revoked?

I have a quick question. Can a UK Driving licence be revoked when one has an appeal pending at the Lower Tier Tribunal?

A driving licence can be revoked for all sorts of reasons, mine was because I had a defibrillator fitted and was not allowed to drive for six months.

I thought it could only be revoked (under the Immigration Act 2014) if the Home Secretary believed one did not have leave to remain but needed to have it. (I'm not sure that the belief has to be reasonable.) The question then is, one hopes, does the OP currently have leave to remain, or, perhaps an even more effective preservative, is the OP outside the UK?

The OP is in the UK and has a pending appeal with the First tier Tribunal.
