A question more for the General Immigration Forum than the ILR forum. Can the mods move it to the appropriate forum?

What documentary evidence is your mother going to provide to the ECO to prove her financial and personal circumstances in her home country?
How long is she intended to visit the UK?
She needs to convince the ECO that she is a genuine visitor and that she will leave the UK after her visit.

She don't have any documents to prove her financial and personal circumstances. However I have transferred funds to mother's account but not regularly each month. Not sure if her bank account statement will help?
Planning stay for 3 to 4 months and I think visa will be granted for minimum 6 months?
Any other way I can prove as a genuine visitor?
Thanks

I would suggest caution in arranging a visit for four months. The UKV&I seem to be scrutinising visit visas for family members of people settled in the UK in greater detail, to ensure that they are visiting and not residing. Here are some threads on these forums that you may wish to read through.

I would recommend that your parents keep their visits short and frequent, say two weeks to one month every year or so as in this example.

Thanks. So there are chances of rejection if requesting for 4 months validity?
On the financial details section can you please give me a clue what can be filled?
How much do you spend each month on living costs?
What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP?
The total amount of money you have for this trip?
The cost of the aeroplane, boat,or train tickets?
Is it worth going through agency to represent the visa in India?
Thanks

We cannot guess the cost of the visit, you need to write down the actual facts. You still have a problem in that your mother doesn't appear to have much to show her strong ties to her home country, based on the limited information you have actually provided.

Hi,
Would be grateful if you can provide me some suggestion for obtaining family visit visa for my mother.
Is it worth buying a property in my mother's name and then to submit the property document to prove ties in the home country for my mother?
Thanks

Hi, To show ties to the home country you could provide property documents if she has any property in her name Or if you are applying from Pakistan you can show Nadra's Family tree documents and attach some photographs of her other children living with her in pakistan or siblings, grandchildren etc.
If you send her money attach her bank statements.

I would like to apply for visitor visa for my parents. Should I fill two separate application forms for them. because, there was a question in the application form asking about anybody else travelling with you? where I entered my mother's details as my father was the main applicant.
Please advise me on this silly question.
