ILR, ESOL Entry 3 and British Citizenship test

just a quick question if someone is doing ESOL entry level 3 and has passed it does this mean they have to to the british citizenshiop test also. or is it fine if they have one or the other when they apply for their indefinate leave to remain.

You have to show that you have progressed on an ESOl course from one level to the next

and i think it has to be a combined ESOL course that covers information on citizenship

Absolutely...which is why any other qualification, such as degree in English
isn't sufficient.
