One Stop Application to the Home Office

Post by KJL » Mon Feb 08, 2016 10:26 pm

Hi all,

Does any one know what a One Stop Application to the Home office is and how or in what situation such an application can be made please?

Brief background to question: my friend wrote to the Home office about grounds (family life, with 2 kids born in the UK, one of whom is 7 yrs old) for his continued stay in the Uk, after receiving a removal notice letter from the Home office (appeal rights exhausted on a tier 1 extension case). The Home office has said he needs to make an application for his grounds to be considered. Someone has suggested that he should make a one stop application.

I would really appreciate any information from people with information or experience of making a one stop application to the Home office please.

Thanks

FLR(FP) might be worth looking at.

Thanks Char for your thoughts. I have looked at FLR(FP) guidance and the Appendix FM of the immigration rules and it seems that use of FLR(FP) under family life as a parent applies to situation of a single applicant, which is not the case for my friend.

Any other thoughts/suggestions on this post will be appreciated
