regain Indian citizenship from OCI?

BC + OCI wants to regain the indian citizenship.
Please advise the procedure and how longs it takes to regain? Did anybody gone through regain procedure? Please share the experience

I have read if you lived 3 years in India, then you could renounce ur BC and apply for Indian citizenship again.

What are your reasons?

You can apply for registration to regain Indian citizenship under section 5(1)(f) of Indian Citizenship Act if you have been living in India for 1 year before your application and you or either of your parents were Indian citizen before.
