Will My UK Visa Application Get Approved - Family VISA

My sister in in England for Two yerars now and her visa is valid upto April 2012. My Parents visited her (my sister) in UK in August. They stayed there for 24 days.

Now, I (Citizen of India) have also applied for the UK Visa. I am 20 years old. Below are the details i gave.

1. Sister’s Passport Photo Copy
2. Sister’s Old Visa page copy
3. Sister’s Present Visa page copy
4. Sister‘s request for short term brother Visa
5. Tenancy agreement copy
6. My Academic Certificates
7. My Leave Certificate
8. My Bank Statement (Balance was 7 Lakhs) ($ 16000)
9. Statement of Monthly earnings ( Monthly income more than 1 lakh ($2222) for last 10 month)
10. My Taxpayer’s Counterfoil
11. My PAN Card Photo Copy
12. My Fixed Deposit Confirmation Certificate
13. Surrender Value of one LIC Policy and photo copy of other LIC Policy (Mine only)
14. Photo Copy of HDFC Standard Life Insurance (Mine)
15. Father’s income certificate
16. Valuation of Land certificate (Father’s )
17. Parents UK Visa page copy


I submmitted my file on 6 Decmeber 2010.

I want to know will i get the VISA. What are the chances..

Status - Visa application is under process at the British High Commission

How much more time will it take.
