My mother and sister submitted the family visit visa application and got this email today from VFS Global. No email from Abudhabi.

If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times..

To me this response is quick.

Application submitted: 20/08/2014
Email VFS Global 02/09/2014
No call from HO

Confused if its a refusal or successful aplication?

Any Ideas guys

Thanks.
@mb95061z it looks like visa application may have been refused but you will come to know soon, kindly do post outcome in any case, best wishes
@ali_asad_pk Yes you were right it was a refusal. Now they are going to reapply this week. Can we use the same bank statements as last time? Evidence which ECO has asked for will be provided. He basically asked for the evidence of origin of funds.
Thanks

@mb95061z you need to submit recent bank statements, which should be ideally up to within last one calendar month, it wil be good otherwise ECO may refuse for not submitting recent/latest financial details as they just seek excuse to refuse and out-dated document is what they love the most as it makes their job lot easier

Good Luck

It is for my sister in laws parents.

They were refused previously for unexplained one off payment into their bank account (only for £800) and also due to no certainty that they would return to pakistan at end of visa.

We resubmitted application, giving better explanations of all items and showing reasons that they would return back to pakistan.
We explained the payment in the account, but personally i think it was just an additional excuse to refuse rather then solely on overstay risk.

Visa application submitted at end of august. Delayed due to the protests etc
Sponsor Had call from visa centre on the 8th asking for confirmation of sponsorship.
This morning, on 11th, had email from VFS GLobal as detailed in original post.
And a few hours ago, they have called my sister in law parents to come collect passports. No indication of whether the visa has been granted or not.

Hope it is good news.

hi

my sister just received an email from home office 3 hours ago stating;
Dear xxxxxxx

Having recently received a decision on your application, UK Visas and Immigration would like to ask for your feedback in a short online survey. The aim of this survey is to find out how well we met your needs and how we can improve in the future.

Please click on the UK visas survey to give your feedback.

The questionnaire should take around 10 minutes to complete. It should be completed by the applicant

kindly plz tell me what does this email mean? they sent this email on her previously applied application email address.....

Hello All! Here's something for all members, If you have applied for Visit visa from Pakistan, Your application is sent to Abu Dhabi for processing. Student Application and other categories are resolved in Islamabad!

So based on my experiences and conversation with representative at Abu Dhabi,
"You get an email if you have been granted a visa"

Islamabad Embassy doesn't send any email even though visa is granted.

My visa has been rejected twice back to back. Didn't get any email. My mother got her visa and received email from 3G-Uncleared.
