We received the email says your visa has been concluded.
Also mentioned in the middle of the email that avoid making travelling plan. Is that mean they have refused? Does anyone got the same email? Please tell me your opinion. Thanks

ECOs are a real pain sometime...they should be trained on how to interpret Immigration Rules in a better way...

Received this today any thoughts people?

Applied for visa for family and got rejected. Then replied with all relevant documents. It took one month and I have now been asked to come collect the documents. It's say that the visa is processed but no Ref number or Gwf number.

@fatima-ahmed
According to my knowledge you can only stay 6 months in the UK in a year time. That 6 months can be of one visit alone or multiple visits. But the person must not exceed 180 days stay. As your mother and sister came back in february. This should be completely fine to apply again in July as long as they dont exceed the allowed days.

Hi. Please can someone help and give some advice.
I applied for both my mother & father-in-laws visit visa to UK. We would like them to come and spend time with their grandchildren.
My husband and i will be fully funding the while of their trip.
Time line :
Appointment @ Lahore 28th April.
Abu Dhabi application recd 4th May.
Phone call from immigration to me 7th May.
Concluded email rec'd 13th May.
Read and re-read on here concluded means visa granted.
They got call on 15th May to collect passports.
Went to Lahore 18th May - Visa declined.
We were quite excited at the thought of concluded meaning granted.
Everyones now upset.
How/when should we reapply/not reapply. So confused.
If should reapply do we have to refill application and how to we answer those things they have rejected on. Onebeing will not leave country - id be surprised if they both even stay for half the time.
Please can someone aadvise.
I have been reading through and some things seem to make sense, but am a little confused.

mni wrote:Hi All,

Finally with the Blessing of Allah got parents visa granted.

timelines below

24/04/2015 - submitted application and paid online
28/04/2015 - parents appointment in Gerry's Islamabad (VFS Global)
03/05/2015 - email confirmation from Abu Dhabi on receiving documents
13/05/2015 - email from HO - "you application has been concluded" and subject with GWF only
20/05/2015 - received email from VFS global "document processes"
20/05/2015 - collected today and Visa is granted.

So emails with GWF only might have visa approval, you cannot assume.

All the best

My inlaws do not have bank accounts. Were you in a similar position and if so how did you prove

Submitted Visitor Visa (12 months) on 06-May-2015 at Karachi.

UK visa application has been received at the British Embassy Abu Dhabi: 13 May 2015
Your UK visa application has been concluded: 19 May 2015
The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWF0xxxxxxx was received at the UK Visa Application Centre: 22 May 2015.
Collected Passport: 25 May 2015
Result: Rejected

Reason: You have failed to provide a Medical Report.

I attached a copy of Medical Certificate (TB test) of IOM with my application. Don't understand why the ECO couldn't see that.
