Does this Naric letter fullfill English language requirement

Post by Kindsoul » Fri Feb 10, 2017 10:09 pm

Hi to all seniors,

I am going to apply for FLR (M) extension for my wife in July and need your advice regarding English language requirements:

I have received two sets of letter from Naric to meet English language requirement as below:

1: Bachelor degree comparison.......

Message received from Naric
Further to this , I am able to confirm the following:
Naric Assessment: is considered comparable to British Bachelor ( Honours) degrees standard.

2: Degree taught in English and assesment towards English language requirement and this is what Naric sent"

Further to this, I am able to confirm the following:
Level of English: the level of English language requirement for the above degree course is considered to meet the requirements of CEFR level C1.

I am confused as the English requirement is A2 level which Naric did not specified even though C1 level is higher than A2.

Do I meet the requirementof English language requirement? If yes

Do I need anything else with these documents for this purpose?

Your advice or views are highly appreciated.

Many thanks
Kind Regards
Baz

Seems it does yes.

You need to submit the NARIC document, degree and any letter from the university if you have one.

Many thanks for taking time and replying CR001. I have two Naric documents as below:

1 Degree Comparison
2 English Language assessment letter

You have mentioned the letter from University. Is it Mandatory or optional? I can't see anywhere for this requirement.

Regards
Baz

Not sure actually. The Naric assessment should suffice.

Thanks. But will I face any problem regarding the English assessment level as they not mentioned that it meets the standard to A2 level which is required for visa extension however C1 is higher than it.
What's your thought on it? Cheers
