FLR (M) VS FLR(FP)

Post by haqhash » Sun Mar 20, 2016 7:15 pm

Dear Members and Moderators,
I am very confused about which visa do i need to select for my wife. She came here in March 2012 as PBS dependent. I have got ILR (LR) already and registered our child for naturalization.

I do not think that we meet the financial requirements for FLR (M) due to very complex financial requirements. So my question is that can she apply for FLR (FP)? Will that be a straight forward case?

Many Thanks

FLR(FP) is never straightforward. Exceptional circumstances as a reason to remain needs a very strong case in order to succeed, even more so as you don't hold British citizenship. Where are you falling down on the FLR(M) finance rules?

Dear Casa,
Thanks for your reply. Our combined salaries from limited company are above the threshold but FLR (M) financial requirements require company CT006 for this financial year which is still in progress. Company financial year ends in May and she needs to apply next month.

We can not use last CT006 as there was no salary taken last year

Given that i have ILR and if my daughter gets citizenship , even then FLR(FP) will be complicated?

Regards

Have you read through the guidance notes for the UKVI decision makers (case workers) to see how FLR(FP) applies to your circumstances?
